What God did this past year

I asked you to partner with me in prayer and giving this past year.  Wow, what a privilege to be on the receiving end of that and to see how God uses all of it for his glory and his name.  As a partner, I wanted to share with you just a glimpse of what God did in the hearts and lives of my students this past year.  I am so blessed to be the witness to God's work here and it make my heart so full of praise and joy to God and for your partnership.

So what did your prayers, your giving, your encouragement to me, bring about thing the hearts of my students?

Here's what they told me they learned about God while they were in 2nd grade:

• -        God can do anything.
• -        How you can go to heaven.
• -        Jesus is coming back on a white horse and a trumpet will blow and the dead and living people will meet him in the sky.
• -        Jesus is the King.
• -        Jesus died on the cross.
• -        Jesus died for me.
• -        God is all powerful.
• -        God loves me.
• -        God gives us the choice of sin or life forever.
• -        I’m a sinner.
• -        Jesus is my shepherd.
• -        The Bible is God’s word.
• -        We should love our enemies.
• -        God is holy.
• -        Sinners (unforgiven) do not go to heaven.
• -        God is not a sinner.
• -        God is spirit.
• -        God is everywhere and her hears us all the time.
• -        Jesus sent us the Holy Spirit.
• -        Jesus has a plan for us.
• -        I sin but Jesus forgives my sins.
• -        Jesus’ name means “Savior”.

Praise God for the work He has done and is doing in each of their hearts.  God didn't need us to the work in their hearts.  He could have worked and taught their hearts without out us.  However, in his goodness he allowed all of us, you and me, to be part of what he is doing in the hearts of Hungarians, Missionary Kids (MK's), and other expats.
