It's almost here....

First first day of school is tomorrow!  It's hard to believe. This last week has been very busy.  We've had staff meetings everyday since Wednesday, Aug 21.  There has been time to work in my classroom and plan lessons too.

I spent many hours in my classroom preparing and getting ready.  It doesn't matter how many years you have been teaching it seems like there is always more to do.  Tens years of experience and it still feels overwhelming.

I guess that in some ways it is good that I don't feel all together so that there is room for God to work and show his glory.  There is room for weakness and faith.  

What a difference a week makes! 

Ready for Open House to meet my students.

Tomorrow, I will welcome 14 new dear little ones into my classroom and into my heart.  Please pray with me that God will give me eyes to see them as he does and a love for each of them that could only come from him.  Pray that we will learn about grace, trust, obedience and delighting in the Lord this year.
