Hungarian Parliment

May 31 was a cool yet beautiful day to explore some recently updated areas of Budapest.  My friends and I took a visit to the Parliment building that sits right along the Danube River on the Pest side.  It's impressive building.  One day I'll go inside to see the marble halls and the crown jewels but for now I enjoy the outside.  

They recently finished renovating the square ( Kossuth Lajos tér ) in front of the parliament building.  This square is significant for many historical things including the October revolution of 1956.
