Facts about Hungary

Hungary is a landlocked central European country.  It borders Austria, Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Croatia, and Slovenia.  The Danube River runs through the capital Budapest.  It was under the communist rule after WWII until 1989.  The population is roughly 9.9 million and only 282,000 are evangelical Christian  (2.8 %).  (www.operationworld.org)
