A Call to Prayer

God has been good to allow me to be here for a second year.  It is a joy to be here and I look forward to the many ways God will grow and challenge me this year.  I thank God and you who have made it possible for me to continue to be here.  However, year two has come with it's challenges.  My roommate has yet to arrive leaving me to cover all of the living expenses on my own until she arrives.  I wasn't prepared or planning on this.  Would you consider praying in two ways?

1.  Pray for my roommate that God would give her favor, boldness and peace as she raises her support.  Pray that God would comfort and encourage her as she has not been here for the beginning of the school year.  She is currently at about 20% of her support and needs 90% or more to come.

2.  Pray about giving.  If you gave a one-time gift last year, would you pray and see if God lead you to give another one-time gift to help cover the unexpected living costs of about $300 a month?  If you would like to give, you may find information on how to do so here.

Above all, will you pray that my heart would be shaped and conformed to be more like His, that I would have eyes to behold is glory and goodness and that God's name would be glorified above all.
