During our Bible class time we've been study various miracles of Jesus. One of the activities we did to help us learn them was to be "news reporters" by writing the events down. It was good practice for writing and helpful for checking students comprehension and memory of the story.
Here are a few examples:

| "In Capernaum there was a servant that was sick. Then Jesus came to the solider. Then the solider asks Jesus can you help the sick. Then the solider came to Jesus. Then the solider said that you Jesus for healing my servant." |

The News of Cana-
"Jesus was invited to a wedding. Then once they ran out of wine. Mary came to Jesus do something. Jesus said it's not my time. Then Mary went to the servants do what he says. Jesus said bring this water to the host. When the host tasted it, it tasted like wine." |

Jesus News
"Jesus was turning water to wine. Mary was asking Jesus to. They were running out of wine. There in Cana was a party. Someone was engaged with someone else. That is why they had a party." |
Pray that these lessons are more than just stories to these children. Pray that they heard and believed that Jesus is God. Pray that God would open the eyes of their heart just like Jesus healed the blind and the sick.
