Autumn 2011
Today, I went to a different church. I had been wanting to visit another church since arriving but the it just hadn't worked out until today. So, my friend Amanda and my roommate Megan and I set out for church. Amanda came along to help us navigate our way there. This church is ministry of Calvary Chapel in Budapest. It is comprised primarily of Hungarians. The worship was in Hungarian. It was powerful and moving to worship God in a different language all while knowing the meaning of the song. We sang "Shout to the Lord" and "Ancient of Days" in Hungarian. It felt like a little taste of heaven.
